Currently in progress, this memorial to the late Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones  has been  commissioned by Cleveland’s Greater Regional Transit Authority for the new Stephanie Tubbs Jones Transit Center. Groundbreaking for the station is slated for September 10, 2009 (STJ’s birthday) with an estimated completion date of September 10, 2010.

The sculpture’s design consists of ten painted plates of 1/2” thick stainless steel emerging from a granite base. The total height of the finished sculpture is eight feet with a six foot by six foot footprint. Each plate will be lit by solar powered LED floodlights.
